My music sucks because it's repetitive apparently...

So I was playing some of usual music last weekend with my portable speaker at Boy Scout Camping trip.  This is a district campout with tons of other troops, so there's often rivalry and general uneasiness between others...

Song playing was:
Inpetto - No More Serious Faces - Progressive House

This other kid from another troop says:
"Dude, I hate your taste of music"
but he was being kinda dodgy about saying that.  I thought he was sarcastic and we both kinda chuckled.  Awkward hehheh.

Another minute into the song he says
"I hate this song, it's so repetitive"  <insert massive brawl here>

Well, about repetitiveness, I believe that if a melody is that catchy, it's allowed to be repeitive.  And this song certainly holds a very nice melody for me...
This also ties into how deadmau5's music can also be considered good.  He has a ton of repetitive stuff.

It also depends on the application of the music, obviously repetitive make extremely good background.  I bet most of you listen to music while driving.

Argument objection:  "Well honestly I really don't want to listen to more radio pop music...  Really, radio has been doing so bad lately, I hear repeated songs like every hour.  Plus, this what you call "Techno noise stuff" also happens to be somewhat cheaper.  You can find free download stuff so much easier in these EDM genres."

I love this music.  and I proudly stand by it and defend it.

Nicky Romero & ZROQ - WTF? (Original mix) - Electro House

That sample is just golden.  The expression just never gets old!

This song brings together very clear and classic examples trance chords and electro wobble base.  There's also a Progressive House beat to wrap it all together.

LAZRtag - Jump - Electro House

This song is actually 3 different remixes, but it's all awesome all the same..
1st is original, 2nd is james egbert, 3rd is candyland.

I'm personally preferring the 2nd or the james egbert remix.

Joe Garston - Random Hero - Electro House

It's Joe again, with random hero.

I think that the melody carries it all on this song...
